Subsidiaries of Universal Systems, Inc.

BioStar Technologies is the leading supplier of microbial products and enzyme for the oil industry. It started commercial operations in February 1990 in Bakersfield, California. It was initially conceived as a local company that then needed to move operations to other areas due to the Northridge earthquake in 1994, which forced the closure of the oil fields around the area. As a result BioStar Technologies opened up operations in Alaska, Louisiana, and Texas. Subsequently, international operations were initiated in Venezuela, Trinidad, Ecuador, and more recently in Syria.

The services provided by BioStar Technologies consist of supplying microbial, enzymatic, and chemical compounds for the oil industry to optimize crude oil production, crude properties, and all processes associated with hydrocarbon exploitation, transportation, refining, and distribution of its derivatives. BioStar technologies has based its development in products with the highest degree of environmentally safety standards, and environmentally conscious procedures.
